As men of Seven, Pastor Paul has tasked us with the following
responsibilties:
1: Build up the Church
2: Stand before God in prayer
3: Stand before God in your failures
4: Stand on behalf of others
If you missed Man Night, you should have been there, the food was
terrific (thanks Harbor), the Dodge ball was challenging ( thanks Richard
Dees), and
Paul's study of
Ezekiel 22:20 was moving.
What does it take to be a man of God? Look at a quote from
Gostanian" As a man, I want glory, honor, respect, adventure, conflict, and passion. I deeply want my life to count and I want to live for something bigger than myself. At the end of my days, I want to know it wasn't a waste, but all the failures, difficulties, scrapes, bruises and dangers meant something."
Ezekiel 22:20, " I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none."
DOES YOUR LIFE SAY "........BUT I FOUND ONE"?
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IT TAKES TO BE A MAN OF GOD?
